Maria Elvia Ross, 34, was taken into custody by officers with U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement sometime after 10 a.m., officials said.
Ross, who was hired in 2001, has served on Sheriff Lupe Valdez’s quality assurance team that oversees improvements to sanitation in the jails.

Ross' citizenship problem came to light when she underwent a background check after recently applying to be a sheriff's deputy,Did she delude herself into thinking she was a citizen? Geez, why would an illegal apply to be a deputy?

It is a joke. The GOP has big majorities in FL and TX but they are all stnking open-borders RINOs. FL has a few real conservatives but only a handful.
Chris Christie in NJ is better though he is not good on the 2nd Amend and illegal immigration.
Rick Perry and Charlie Crist - how pathetic. La Familia open-borders Marco Rubio claiming he is the “tea Party” candidate. Is the “tea party” for open borders Marcos?

It sounds like she was hired as a cleaning lady. Maybe she took some of those courses you see advertised late at night for the 'exciting world of criminal justice and security- with a degree in body cavity searches". Gotta give her high marks for ambition, though.

I think its time to start tracking situations where illegals are found to be holding sensitive positions. Adversaries may be infiltrating these folks on purpose.
