Too young according to the author, apparently. The article makes no statements regarding ROE and age. IIRC, John Kerry was awarded a medal for killing an unarmed boy in this age range.

F 'em. If they feel they're old enough to take up arms against our armed forces, they're old enough to realize the consequences.

That’s different. Kerry shot him in the back.

Give your enemy an inch and he’ll take a mile.

You want to know what the funniest and most infuriating thing is? The people brainwashing women and children to sacrifice themselves probably won’t get an eye batted at them, but the soldiers who have to defend themselves against them will probably be called murderers.

No wonder it takes us 10 years to win a war nowadays. My Dad and I got into an argument the other day because I said we should bring all our troops home. He thought I was crazy, but if we keep fighting wars this way we will never get out of whereever we may be. Either devestate and win or don’t go in the first place.

I saw a video on the net that was filmed in 1945. A couple of 14 year old teenage German boys had been caught getting information to German soldiers. The video shows one of teh boys being tied to a tree and gunned down by an American firing squad.

I personally think the kids there should have been jailed as POWs, but they were seen as spies and not afforded protection under the Geneva Convention.

These kids in Afghanistan, if old enough to pick up and point a gun, need to be shot by coalition forces. Why allow an American child to lose his dad because his dad could not defend himself adequatly against a kid with the intent of killing him.

Our Leftist lawyers within the military are going to have a field day going after our soldiers who kill these children in self defense.

Too young? *shakeshead*
Is the enemy “too young to kill” if he is firing at you and trying to kill you? Hardly. That would be one dead kid....

Some things I've read over the years.

There was a bridge and American troops were moving over it. A German waited until a lot of troops were on it and blew the bridge. He was caught. Patton witnessed the incident and remarked that they should have shot him.

There was a patrol which encountered some German youths. The patrol lost some good men. The battle ended and the American officer in charge had his men tie up the the Commander of the German teenagers, and he clubbed him to death with his rifle.

In another incident, a sniper had killed some men of a unit. The sniper was captured alive, and a PFC dutifully began to take the sniper to the rear as a prisoner. The Lt who had lost men to the sniper yelled at the PFC and made him stop. The Lt took out his pistol and shot the sniper in the back of the head.

With the deaths of so many Americans our people weren't too hesitant at times to do what needed to be done.

Jihadists place no age limit on infidels, they blow up
the young as well as old, they recognize no quarter,
why should we.

Obama probably awards the troops with his humanitarian award for not firing on these terrorists.

There’s a so-called ‘Canadian’ citizen of Arab heritage being held at Gitmo. He is alleged to have killed at least one American in Afghanistan with a grenade.

Because this little terrorist (whose mother makes anti-freedom, pro-Islam comments all the while receiving the best post-secondary education our nation has to offer) was only a teenager at the time (about 15), the bleeding hearts up here have created such a buzz that even the leftist Supreme court has gotten involved.

He was only a kid, don’t you know.

I wonder how many toddlers we killed in Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, among others?

IIRC that was the last war we won outright. Probably ended up killing a whole lot less, including of those toddlers, than if we'd invaded and slugged it out on their turf.

Situations are not comparable, in many ways. But sometimes, almost always, hitting hard and finishing the job, or as much of it as can be finished, will save lives in the long run, yours and the enemy's.

Down syndrome youth used as suicide bomber Feb 3-05

Does this help clarify the commandment to murder by any means possible?

Why do we even allow them to operate/build mosquefortifications in our country. This sick "religion"/murder cult should be banned!!!

Muck Fishlame, and it's present without ID!

If they pick up a weapon, I wouldn't be asking their age before shooting them.

If they are under 10 I would try to get the weapon away from them, but if they are a teenager with a weapon in hand they are fair game.
