Too bad it wasn’t Peter Angelos.

Not a big fan of George, but I admired his desire to win. More than I can say for the owners of the Pittsburgh Pirates...
Down in DC, the Obama administration is ticked that he died this year instead of next...

Thank you.
In my post #18, I was being sarcastic.
I had to research that name to discover who it was.
My best regards.

The man had been in very poor health for some time. I only hope that the league-run Texas Rangers scooping Cliff Lee away from him at the last minute was not what set him over the edge. Sure could not blame him for being upset about it.

Don’t rush Reggie along. He really was something with those three blasts in the series. Was that 76?

Who???I don't know where you've been for 35 years, but exposing your ignorance,
and lack of respect, pretty much gives me a clue.

Yeah, if you read the story carefully, or get someone to read it to you, you’ll see he wasn’t executed, so we didn’t know when he would die, so therefore it’s news. That broke. AKA “breaking news.”

I can’t help but draw the correlation of a buried and unearthed Ortiz jersey in the new Yankee Stadium, and his passing away the night Ortiz won the home run derby, when I know there is none.

To where? I’m a Red Sox fan.
