Sheila Jackson Lee
Member of the U.S. House
of Representatives
from Texas's 18th district
On a visit to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2005, Jackson Lee made embarrassing news by asking if the Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag planted there in 1969 by Neil Armstrong.[2]
Prior to the 110th Congress, Jackson Lee served on the House Science Committee and on the Subcommittee that oversees space policy and NASA.

I thought my Felix Unger/Oscar Madison ("Odd Couple") analogy was dead on. Do you remember the TV series from the 70s?
Gracias!
As crazy as this sounds some folks are believing it. Wouldn’t it be great if people kept repeating it over and over until everyone took it as gospel? A woman who said that unemployment checks stimulated the economy is liable to say just about anything. This could be gnarly Nan’s “I can see Russia from my house moment”. I would bet that at least 50% of Americans believe that Sarah actually uttered those words.
I don’t think the EPA would allow the canyon to be drug up to Nevada.
And, if they move it I hope they don’t put it on an earthquake fault line. A big quake might result in a big chasm and ruin the canyon.
(we need a lurker to start this thread over at democratic underground. I want to see their responses)
Pelosi is stupid enough to think she could really do it.
Satire aside (what’s that? ;) it wouldn’t surprise me if some wack-jobs proposed redefining some state lines to do this kind of thing in a political sense.
I'm glad I looked at the keywords before replying. But that said, I'd suspect she would propose something like this.
Arnold has been busy with other state parks in CA. See agreement below regarding Ft. Ross.
