Us Weekly editor Caroline Schaefer said on NBC'S "Today" show Tuesday that Palin approached the magazine looking for a platform to explain why she got engaged.

They kind of lost their credibility right there. I don't think Bristol would go to a rag like that to announce her engagement before telling her parents.

If it is true, given the msm hatred of Sarah, this would be a very embarrassing way for her to find out.
