Well, he’d better come up with something BIG.

And I mean BIG.

Lincoln didn’t even cancel elections during the CIVIL WAR.

So BHO better find something bigger than a civil war.

Exactly! Families will turn on families and neighbors against neighbors in an attempt to survive and to keep the socialists at the top off their backs. You will see even socialists and communists turning on each other in even greater numbers in an attempt to protect themselves.

We thought that we saw the me, me, mine generation. We haven’t seen anything yet if we allow socialism to take over this country.

Or, “It is far better to die on your feet as a free man than die on your knees as a slave”.

Can’t remember who said that, but it is becoming more relevant every day.

“True October event might be hawkisk foreign policy, e.g. attack on Iran.”

It’ll be a warm day in Siberia before The One orders any kind of a military strike on Iran. Personally, I think he’s put those two carrier battlegroups in place because he thinks that will somehow deter the Israelis.

The much more likely event is that Iran attacks Israel through its proxies in Lebanon and Gaza. As long as that conflict stays contained to those border areas nobody in the Administration will lift a finger to help. And if it spreads...well, that’s gotta be Bush’s fault.

There are things worse than civil wars. We have just been blessed by God not to see them in this country yet.

If there is another 8/11 type attack on us, Obama and his administration will get full blame for it no matter what the media tries to say.

Illinois Tied race between Republican Mark Kirk and Democrat Giannoulais. Could go either way.

Unfortunately, Kirk is a BIG TIME RINO and appears to be a congenital liar, but still better than Giannoulais.

That might only help him with some Jews. Not the rest. And even then it may be too little too late.

“Good example. Scott Brown - a turncoat!”

He tells us he will sometimes vote with the other side. Well, that’s like telling someone that you will only break their fingers once in a while, but maybe, you will have to split their skull.

This isn’t going to end well for America, the further out of control the Dims get, the further out of control the Pubbies get...they just look less crazy by comparison.

"One thing that must be done is to show the liberals that socialism and communism will destroy not only conservatives but it will destroy them also."

Of course this is true, but if the morons were capable of comprehending this, they wouldn't be Leftists in the first place.

"For some reason, the left doesn’t see this."

Most of the Left doesn't see this--the morons who make up the rank and file of the Left. The Leftist leaders--mostly sociopaths and other assorted undesirables--understand it very well.

"The only ones that win under socialism are the ones at the top of the ladder. Everyone that helped them get to the top will be destroyed along with everyone else."

You betcha!

Remember Boxer the horse in George Orwell's Animal Farm--sent off to the glue factory!

When the Leftist leaders succeed with their agenda, the morons who handed them their successes won't be able to tell the pigs from the humans--and they'll be much worse off.

When you think about all the morons out there and how dangerous they are, you can get really scared.

A Fool is more dangerous than a Scoundrel. There are more of them. They are the Soundrels' enablers; without Fools the Scoundrels would never become powerful. And it's possible to appeal to a Soundrel's self interest.

The Left is mostly Fools. Scoundrels are the leaders of the Left.

Barry ain't no Lincoln. Consequences mean nothing to him. He wouldn't worry about needing a civil war, he might try it just because he gets an abusive email.

But consider this: how do the Feds have the ability to cancel elections, which are managed by the states? What are they going to do, refuse to seat the newly elected Congress in January? I wish 'em rotsa ruck with that. (Well, actually not, but I wish they would try. They wouldn't dare.)

Scott Brown is not a turncoat; not in my mind, anyway.

Anyone around here knew he’d be a “squishy” Republican, just the same as Collins and Snowe. From his part of the country, he has NO choice. There is something in the water supply of MA that makes it so. We supported him because he wasn’t Martha Coakley, not because we thought we were getting Jim DeMint. As it is, he is battling to hold on to his seat. Those screwballs up there are running ads, raising money to turn him out of office.

I figure he’ll be a reliable vote for us about 1/3 of the time. And from MA, I’ll take it. Otherwise, we’ll end up with someone opposing us ONE HUNDRED percent of the time, every time.

I’m pragmatic.

Great quote from your bio:

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

- Marcus Tullius Cicero
January 3, 106 BC – December 7, 43 BC

Thanks. Very appropriate for this thread.

There was a thread that noted the Dems are attempting to take over all the States’ Attorneys General positions - which is where election power resides.

Clever and diabolical!!!

Rush’s theory is that Obama (and his media) know things are going to get worse, will get all he can through congress before January, 2011, then blame all the trouble in the next two years on the new Republican congress.
