Let's see if I get this straight.
Biden violates election rules.
His campaign gets fined.
They send the money in.
The money is just enough to cover Biden's salary.
In the end nothing changes.

“A major Democratic donor who has contributed more than $180,000 to Democratic candidates and causes since 1999 (including $19,000 to Bidens various committees), Halls firm has been implicated but not charged by Attorney General Andrew Cuomo in a New York state pension fund kickback investigation into a joint venture that paid the Clinton Group $750 million in state funds.”
$750,000 million in taxpayer money and all they had to do was buy off a few corrupt politicians. This is easy money. Does anyone wonder why all the Wall Street firms donate so much to Democrats?

How far we have gone into the ditch when $250,000 in Washington think is relatively small.

And how about Obama’s taking donations from foreign sources? What would be surprising is to find a campaign where the democrats haven't employed fraud and illegal money.

Bidens campaign has indicated to the FEC that it will pay the penalty to the U.S. Treasury to resolve the campaign finance compliance issues, which were revealed in an audit report released Friday by the commission I didn't know gov't workers have to work on Fridays.

The FEC once again demonstrates its complete and total uselessness. Maybe it should act against violations, you know, in a more timely manner.
I'll bet Joe Biden will NEVER do THAT again.

“The FEC also ordered Bidens presidential campaign to pay the Treasury $86,000 for stale-dated checks it issued, including for contribution refunds.”
Would this $86,000 be in addition to the $219,000? The word “also” indicates it might be.
I’d like to see a little more discussion on the “stale-dated checks” technique.

Did Biden even raise $200k in his presidential run? This may set some kind of P/E ratio (penalties/earnings) record for a national candidate.
