"Let me be clear": Obama's condescending phrase (subtext: Americans are too dumb to understand)
NY POST ^ | 7/17/10 | MAUREEN CALLAHAN

Posted on 07/20/2010 5:35:24 AM PDT by Liz

Obama uses “Let me be clear” deliberately and extemporaneously.... annoyingly, so does his administration. Senior adviser David Axelrod employs the variation “let’s be clear” -- constantly. So does Biden, press secy Gibbs, COS Rahm Emanuel. HUD secretary Shaun Donovan used it at least eight times in 20 minutes on NPR. The subtext is, “You, the masses, are quite likely misunderstanding everything I’ve heretofore been plainly discussing in our native tongue. Allow me to further simplify it for you.”

Let me be clear and make no mistake are fav line for that ultra dim bulb Maxine Waters. Seems the dumber and more arrogant the gubmnt official the more they use these terms. When that idiot Waters says “make no mistake” I want to shoot the television, Elvis style.

Same with “make no mistake.” The underlying message is that he is about to say something, that, if you don’t agree with it, that’s because you are making a mistake, you are ignorant, you just don’t understand.

“Let me be clear. Some folks are obsessed with the mess that I inherited from the previous administration. I hope that they change.”

An Obama speech, boiled down to its essence. Do we need to hear any more of them?

Apparently Americans ARE too dumb to understand.
They elected the Marxist/Muslim- and they STILL don’t get it.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

From an author in Czech Rep. Apparently they've figured it out. Americans ARE dumb and have difficulty understanding.

All of you right-wingers don’t understand the depth of intelligence and intellectual prowess of our president and the people who surround him in this administration.

You should be grateful that all that intellectual horsepower is deciding the fate of the the United States and instituting a social justice that is perfect, absolute and without fault.

Disregard this administration’s and this congress’s mental superiority at your peril. If you reject them in November, they will not come back, ever!

/Sarcasm/

There was a great deal of anger on the part of conservatives with the Republican Party and their "Big Tent" liberal lite agenda.

Then adding insult to injury the best the Republican Party could come up with for a candidate was insane McCain who ran a lousy campaign.

Has anything been learned by the GOP or will they run Newt Gingrich who is already on Fox News singing his old song that killed the Republican Revolution single handed? The same defeating bipartisan song he sang when we had control. "Lets don't leave the Democrats out of power, can't we all just get along"?

We are in a fight for the very existence of a free nation against progressives and democrats who make no attempt to hide their Marxist agenda anymore. We don't need a Newt to demand that we sit around a campfire and roast marsh-mellows with them and sing camp songs. We need a President Patton who knows how to define the enemy and knows how to destroy them politically.

All of you right-wingers don’t understand the depth of intelligence and intellectual prowess of the WH crew. You should be grateful that all that intellectual horsepower is deciding our fate, instituting social justice policies that are perfect, absolute and without fault.

Yeah------I do keep forgetting that (/snix).

Why is it?

Everytime I see Ohaha, Michele, Axelrod, Jarrett, Emanuel and the WH crew........ I think "Chicago public housing rejects."

====================================

Keep in mind, the Ovomitons occupying our WH have managed to co-opt one major political advantage: They have been able to convince America that they are "harmless."

But that came after years of practice in the political killing fields of Chicago.

I get my biggest laugh when grinning Rahm Emanuel, conniving PR man David Axelrod or Valerie Jarett come before the TV cameras-----looking so coy and innocent----playing their "harmless" act to the hilt.

Really makes my day.

The Ovomitons "Harmless Act" must be the same con they used as teenage car thieves.

Hey, they’re still teenagers. It’s the clothing that throws everyone for a loop.

Watch “Lie To Me,” and see how they read faces and gestures to tell when someone is lying. Fascinating stuff.
