Rush Limbaugh is blasting Fox News for its coverage of Shirley Sherrod, saying that one of the networks anchors caved by not showing the original misleading video fragment that led to the firing of Shirley Sherrod.
The video, posted and promoted by Andrew Breitbart as a display of racism, was a sensation in conservative corners of the internet, but Fox News host Shepard Smith explained Wednesday that his show had decided to not show the video.
We on Studio B did not run the video and did not reference the story in any way for many reasons, Smith said. Among them: We didn't know who shot it, we didn't know when it was shot, we didn't know the context of the statement, and because the history of the videos on the site where it was posted. In short-we did not and do not trust the source.
On his show Thursday, Limbaugh blasted Smith for not showing the video, suggesting that Smith only showed restraint because he didnt have the guts to show it.
Even Fox caved on this. Even poor old Shep Smith went down there and said that everybody's wrong on this, that Breitbart is wrong and so forth, Limbaugh said during his show.
There are only a handful of us that have the guts to put this story straight, he said. If we don't hammer back, nobody will. We got a bunch of cowards in the conservative media inside the Beltway which will not deal with this honestly.

I’m Rush Limbaugh, no wait. I’m Jim Robinson.
I watched Shepard Smith that day and he had Juan Williams on and after two minutes I wanted to friggin puke. Obama can not do any wrong according to Juan who jumps to his defense on every issue.
Yentah is the Yiddish word that comes to mind when I see him on the Tube.
After reviewing the entire video tape made available to us, I feel that Shirley Sherrod was and still is a racist. She was playing to the NAACP crowd and they were lapping it up while laughing with her.
This whole episode reminds me of a brief time I spent at a friend of a friend's house for a summer barbecue. I walked out after listening to some fool tell one 'Jew Joke' after another with the crowd laughing it up except for my friend who was embarrassed by the entire circus.
Just for the record, I am not Jewish. Were I brave, I would have called the joker out.
The only difference was the recording devise present at the NAACP gig when Shirley could not stop running her mouth about 'his kind' and 'I only did enough'.
Then there's Shep,
There’s been a lot of speculation regarding who would play Silky Pony in the upcoming file. Maybe it’s time for Shep to break into movies.
They could use a body double for the sex scenes.

Media and Democrats are trying to change the narrative. Breitbart said that he posted the video to show the NAACP audience applauding a racist act. He never claimed he was trying to show Sherrod as a racist, although she admitted that she had been a racist.
Breitbart said that he was comparing the NAACP audience approval of a racist act to the caims by the NAACP that the Tea Party was racists.
The White House and NAACP are the ones who reacted to Sherrod’s incomplete statement and forced her out before finding out all of the facts and giving her a chance to explain, Breitbart had nothing to do what that action.
“I think I’m watching Howdy Doody”
He reminds me of “Danno” of the old “Hiwaii 5-0” television series. Both are pretty clueless “want a be’s.”
More like Dilly Dolly..... Think he could make his ears shake?
Isn’t it pretty obvious that if Sherrod had been a white guy using the same style of speech he would have been crucified by the Leftist media propaganda machine?
Obamas fall guy in Shirley Sherrod case is Vilsack the Pooh
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, who once dressed as Winnie the Pooh as Iowa governor, had to deliver a public apology to Sherrod

In post-racial America, whenever conservatives provoke liberals to foolishly overreact in a racial controversy and step right into the doo-doo, two things are required:

I forget that there is a large population of younguns out there that have no idea who Ted Baxter is, (was) and what a funny show that was.
Yes, Fox always cut away when the NAACP-ers cheered for discriminating against white folk.
