Did you watch those videos? There is no way to defend the actions of those four officers. The poor SOB who had to deal with them should argue incompetence of counsel and revoke his guilty plea. Let those videos go to trial, and when the judge gets sick of it and dismisses the charges, then have the prosecutor fired and disbarred. The deputies and the detective should get hard labor for life.
I did watch the videos — and I never made any attempt to defend ANY of the actions of those “officers.” To the contrary, I said it was sad that the vast majority are often tainted by the wrong doing of the few — like these crooks.
There’s only one thing I dislike more than a crook — that’s a crooked cop. These guys meet that criteria. And any prosecutor and judge that justifies or excuses what they did deserves to be under the jail with them.
