The company should have called him and told him he was fired. Period. Then they should have heightened security. Why have him come in for a disciplinary hearing and then tell him he’s canned?

It’s Union/Company policy. I’ve seen it happen many times but they would have a couple of Security people sometimes standing outside the door to escort the person off the property.
