Homosexuals in FL supported upping the threshold for constitutional ballots over 60%. They were counting on that to block a constitutional amendment protecting marriage.
It passed with room to spare.
I suspect this is being held to the end of the day in order to get past the news cycle. IOW as stealth an opinion as possible.
I voted for that amendment. And I don’t live in CA but if I did I would have supported Prop 8 with no “confusion.”
