Well don't you sling the propaganda around. Wolves do attack people, they attack anything that looks like food. There are many documented attacks on humans in the European records, you might want to take a look at them sometime. The BS about wolves not attacking humans is something the greenies made up in order to justify sticking them back into the states.
Ranchers don't want to be reimbursed they want to keep their herds multiplying and make money selling the meat, wool or whatever.
You are saying, fine, let the wolves kill all the livestock and let the taxpayers pay the Ranchers so they can make a profit and feed the wolves.
People used to say Mountain Lions didn't attack people either but they sure as he** do.
Think about this: Dogs are wolves closest relatives and they attack and kill people almost daily, in the US and other countries, so what makes you think that wolves, who are more vicious than any dog, will not attack and eat humans?
That is absolutely correct. The European wolves were very aggressive toward humans and were killed off as a result.
I see folks citing articles that are composed of conjecture (and there are refutations to most), but I have yet to see a link that substantiates a documented case of a wolf killing a human in North America in the last 100 years.
And, even if there were 10, I would ask this audience: Compare that to 12 deaths annually in the US due to Domestic Dog Bites!

Should we kill all domestic dogs?
You are right. We should exterminate all animals capable of killing people, even if they rarely or never do so. This include all domestic dogs capable of killing children.
Maybe he hasn’t read “Call of the Wild” by Jack London. A classic.
