Indian police said Friday they found the decapitated body of an American woman in the western state of Rajasthan and detained her teenage son as a possible suspect.
The 55-year-old victim had been traveling in India with her 15-year-old son, police said.
The mother and son were staying in a luxury tent encampment in Ossian, a small town on the outskirts of Jodhpur city, a prime tourist destination in the western desert state.
