What is this “RightHaven LLC” suing over?
Copyright infringement. They are suing anyone who posted even part of a Las Vegas Journal Review article on their blog or website.
They are going after commercial blogs as well as non-commercial blogspot family blogs.
Essentially, the Las Vegas Journal Review hired them to sue anyone and everyone who ever posted any bit of their content without permission. It’s very much like the RIAA lawsuits.
It most likely violates the law, since the DMCA requires that copyright holders give the violator a takedown notice before they take any legal action.
They claim copyright infringement. They are also suing FR.
FReepers is being sued by this guy too.....he’s an attorney that has dipped into the bottom of the scum pile where he lives.
I can’t say on a public forum what I would do if he sued me.
