Just How Smart is Obama?

The meteoric rise to the presidency of Barack Obama was fueled in no small part by the widely-accepted contention that he was one of the smartest men ever to seek the Oval Office. He is not the first leader to be oversold.

"As far as Saddam Hussein being a great military strategist, he is neither a strategist, nor is he schooled in the operational art, nor is he a tactician, nor is he a general, nor is he a soldier. Other than that he's a great military man -- I want you to know that." It is an article of faith among the mainstream media, even on the squishy right (Bill O'Reilly comes to mind), to start any discussion of the 44th President with a ritual expression of utter amazement at his enormous brain power.

This immortal witticism of Gen. Normal Schwarzkopf after a lightning 1991 campaign that cut to pieces the Iraqi dictator's vaunted army resonates with me each time I read or hear any discussion of President Obama.

If Zero is so smart, let's see his high school transcripts, SAT scores, and college transcripts from Occidental College, Columbia University, and Harvard Law.

TOTUS won't release any of them, so we can speculate why he won't.

I guess Obama is keeping his college transcripts sealed from public view because he doesn't want lesser mortals to be embarrassed that they can't come close to his brilliant record. Probably his IQ is listed there as 200+ with an asterisk explaining that they couldn't measure how far above 200 his actual score is.

Bill O'Reilly last night idiotically praised Obama for being very hard-working. He's probably spent less time per week working than any President since Taft, or FDR in his final year when his health was so poor.

Obama seems to be fairly intelligent, although people give him a lot of extra credit because he has a true genius as a performance artist. A silver tongue can create the impression of more smarts than its owner truly possesses.

I would like to see him on “Are you smarter than a fifth grader?”

That show is one of the best “exposes” of affirmative action. It is so enlightening of the subject that I wonder why it is not being called “racist” by the msm.

and what an irony! the show being hosted by a redneck!

It is amazing how many folk of color with two or more doctorates can’t even answer second grade-level questions, and could not answer any of the higher grades withot the help of the child actor.

Obama is a product of affirmative action programs.

He was given a high school diploma because he was black.
He was admitted to columbia because he was black.
He was admitted to harvard because he was black.
He was put on the law review because he was black.

He never EARNED any of those degrees. He was simply GIVEN them because of affirmative action programs at all those schools, remember back when he was in school... quotas were still constitutional. Each of those schools had racial quotas they had to meet ... and at each step Obama was passed through undeservedly.

Yeah, the only thing he’s smart about is getting an affirmative action education (of which we have no documentation) on the back of Whitey’s guilt, and letting an MSM elevate him to savior-like status to get him elected. Still doesn’t mean he’s the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Oh, I think Barry is pretty smart, but I'm not that impressed. He's a “gamer”. A snake oil salesman. You have to be kind of smart to fool a lot of people. He reminds me of a real good used car salesman. They can sell you a pretty crappy car by reading your emotions, reactions. (This isn't a put down of car salesmen in general...just some of those guys we've all run into at one time or another, looking for a used car.)

I'd like to see his grades from Oxy and Columbia and for that matter Harvard. I think he was an affirmative action student from kindergarten on up. Doesn't mean he's not smart, just not the genius the media makes him out to be.

He sure doesn't sound that smart when he strays from the TOTUS.

Same goes for Wookie. She was a good high school student,not great. I got better grades than her and was in loads of extra curricular activities...somehow Yale turned me down. Wonder why?

I love her “me and Barack” line. What a POS she is. Oh, but she is nearly as brilliant as Urkel, or so the media tells us. I'm sure she got that $300,000+ per year job at the hospital because she is such a smarty pants. Makes me gag...These two are grifters.
