Americans increasingly are convinced - incorrectly - that President Barack Obama is a Muslim, and a growing number are thoroughly confused about his religion.
Nearly one in five people, or 18 percent, said they think Obama is Muslim, up from the 11 percent who said so in March 2009, according to a poll released Thursday. The proportion who correctly say he is a Christian is down to just 34 percent.

The other 82% either don't know or are just uninformed. The MSM has covered up Obama’s Muslim background. Slowly the truth is getting out so the MSM has to do articles like this for damage control.

Well, Rev. Wright’s church is Christian isn’t it?
Now, Wright’s form of Christianity is foreign to most of us. The MSM can’t get beyond the fact that it is labeled as a Christian church, and that therefore, we must believe it when Obama says he is Christian.
I think the Obamas went to church one time since they have been in the White House. He went to a black oriented church in the Anacostia neighborhood in Washington, DC. But I think it was a one time thing.
How do they KNOW it’s “incorrect?” There’s far more evidence showing his adherence to islam than there is to Christianity.
But all of the evidence declares that he IS a Muslim.
Don’t you just love the way every news article has some variant of that word “incorrectly,” with absolutely NO EVIDENCE to support it?
On the other hand, there is plentiful evidence that he is not a Christian in any ordinary meaning of the word, that he was a Muslim until at least the age of 10, and that his sympathies are strongly Muslim.
And there is no evidence that he was ever baptized or ever attended church with the exception of that church in Chicago, which was run by a former black muslim pastor and that happily admitted Muslims to its membership.
Obama never said he was a Christian. He said he was a “member” of that very unchristian church, which, as it happens, had a policy of including Muslims in its membership.
He keeps the Muslim Holidays. He ignores the Christian ones. And he constantly praises Islam and lies about its role in building America.
Quacks like a duck, indeed. Where is there ANY EVIDENCE for that sneering “incorrectly” directed at anyone who dares to question The One?
What BO claims and what reality knows are often at odds. BO of course, says he is a Christian, but saying so does not make it reality.
