Americans increasingly are convinced - incorrectly - that President Barack Obama is a Muslim, and a growing number are thoroughly confused about his religion.
Nearly one in five people, or 18 percent, said they think Obama is Muslim, up from the 11 percent who said so in March 2009, according to a poll released Thursday. The proportion who correctly say he is a Christian is down to just 34 percent.

I don’t think Sharia law let’s him go to Christian churches too often. Hence, Barry and his lovely bride don’t bother with Christianity. It’s too “Christian.”

Maybe if his first edict after assuming the office had not been promoting abortion and previously voting for infanticide as a Senator, we would take the word of his handlers that he is “Christian.”

Some people say that he really meant my “alleged” Muslim faith, but I think it’s pretty clear that he did not mean it that way.
It appears Imam Obama has not been able to find a church home he is comfortable with since leaving “Rev.” Jeremiah Wright’s Temple of Racial Hatred with its hate America theology.

Obama is definitely not a Moslem -- "Islam" means "submission" and Obama is no more likely to submit to anyone than, say, Satan was. (The bowing to the Saudi king was political, not personal. Obama was bowing on behalf of the US, not himself.) Obama takes a pro-Moslem position only because Islam is an enemy of America.

How about he come out and assert some Christian doctrinal beliefs, like, the exclusivity of salvation through Christ...

Probably more times than I have been to church during the same time period. While that may not make me a good Catholic, it doesn't change the fact that I am still a Catholic in my heart. In contrast, Obama could go to church every day, 365 days a year, and that would not change my opinion of him.

He doesn’t even know the basic tenet of Christianity...to believe that Christ is the “only” way to Heaven. When he stated that his mother was an atheist then, in the next breath, said she is in heaven, I knew he wasn’t a Christian. He may believe he is, but he doesn’t share the most important belief we Christians do.
