As the son of the Muslim father, Senator Obama was born a Muslim under Muslim law as it is universally understood. It makes no difference that, as Senator Obama has written, his father said he renounced his religion. Likewise, under Muslim law based on the Koran his mother’s Christian background is irrelevant.

Well, lots of FReepers have been pointing this out since before the election! Seems no one would listen.

It’s a good thing Stanley Anne wasn’t Jewish. IIRC, Jewish law requires the child to be the religion of the mother. As it was, apparently both she and BHO I were atheists. And I don’t buy that BHO II is of any particular deeply held faith other than Statism.
