OMG. I am so shocked. Just the other day he was in full recovery and thankful he caught it early. Today is a sad day for all of us. This is a very special man who will always be remembered. His last post is a fitting tribute and speaks volume. This is it below.....

This freeper will miss Congressman BillyBob greatly. Though I'd not always agreed with him, I've always respected his opinion.

I am stunned with this news, having read his thread a few days earlier concerning his cancer. Free Republic has lost one of our most treasured posters. More importantly, America has lost a great patriot. Congressman BillyBob's posts were always a must read for me to better understand what was happening in the Judiciary in our great Nation.
But this world was never meant to be our final home. Our cherished freedoms here, which we fight to defend right here on FR, are ordered to a greater end for us to live "face to face" with our Creator.
May the soul of our FRiend, John Armor, be embraced in the Eternal Bliss of our heavenly Father united with His Eternal Son our Lord Jesus Christ in the power of Their Holy Spirit. May God's blessing also flow to John's family and friends in this their time of sorrow.
Thank You dear congressman for the knowledge and wisdom you shared with me - with us - during your life here on Earth.

Very sad. He and I did not agree on the few subjects that we debated, but I thought he was a decent, straight up guy. Well put...I'd say ditto, and will add that I will miss him greatly.
