I’m thrilled to see Maxine McKew out. I watched her in 2007 when she gloated about her victory in Bennelong. She had her moment of temporary glory. It just goes to show that winning ‘hearts’ isn’t everything. Australian voters aren’t stupid. They look at facts, policy & results.

Labor is now being asked to concede they can’t form government in their own right - they won’t concede (and they shouldn’t at this point) but they are being asked.
