Good for Finland. Let the muslims move there.
So a country with a basically homogeneous society in terms of race and religion with a relatively low population is the best place to live? Color me unsurprised.
No income tax, so sales tax...
No bottle/can deposit.
Cheap liquor and smokes.
Live free or die dammit.
Borders, language, culture. The only hope for an ethnically diverse society is one in which the national culture is held above ones ethnic culture. By splitting us into victim groups, the leftists have destroyed this country.
When an ethnic group rises above about 7%, it is an indicator of trouble coming.
2 OF THE MOST BORING AND EXPENSIVE COUNTRIES ON EARTH. 20+ HOURS OF DARKNESS IN THE WINTER. ULTIMATE ANNOYING SOCIALIST NANNY SOFT TOTALITARIAN STATES. NO THANKS.
Tietenkin, teidän pitäisi oppia suomea jos haluaisitte muuttaa sinne.
Sunshine hours in winter in New England are short enough - I doubt I could take those long dark months of the Netherlands - or even Alaska.
WE need vit D to LIVE.
I think I will stay in Texas thank you very much, you can have Finland.
One thing I’ll say about the Finns I’ve met, they have a fierce national pride that’s missing from a lot of people in America today. The Soviets found that out the hard way in 1939-40 and again in 1941-44. Yes, the Reds won, but at a staggering human cost.
However, they’re also a country that recently enshrined broadband Internet access as a human right. Well, what else are you going to do in Finland when it’s winter and your wife has a headache?

They don't even publish voting instructions in Spanish!
How could a place with such a lack of diversity be a nice place to live?
I happened to meet a few young people from Finland last year in Israel. They were working with my daughter on a film project. Their favorite one liner was “Finland is Finished!” They were all trying to get jobs and move out of Finland because they said the economy there was awful. There was no work, everyone was living on subsistence money from the Govt. And the health care was non-existent. I think I’d rather take their word than anything Newsweek Has to say on the subject.
