The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20 (see trends).

Americans still regard Canada and Great Britain as their best friends in the world. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey asked adults to rate the United States’ relationship with 18 other countries whose names are regularly in the news.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove.

There are 30% that cannot say they love him or hate him, and so that is the group to watch. 17% have moved from the strongly approve column since Inauguration Day, and most of them are in this wishy-washy center. Obama is unlikely to ever get them back completely on the reservation - they have moved away precisely because of his liberalism, and he will not change.

I would say the 25% that strongly approve are the parasites of our society(working and non-working); that number will probably never dip too far below 25%. When you consider African-Americans, liberal Hispanics, and communists/socialists/Marxists, that probably makes up 25% who will always support Obama - even if he advocated the elimination of an entire group of people. They would simply say “well, they had it coming.”

The fact is, 75% of the people don’t love him. He’s making it harder and harder for the wishy-washy center to find anything good in his kingly reign, and just wait until normal Americans either begin to start losing their health insurance or see their premiums spike (mine just went up 30%).

Couple that with the tax cuts expiring, and that 30% will move not only completely to the disapprove column; many of them will hate him. I guarantee it.

If there’s anything good about Obama, the cockroaches among us have come out of the woodwork. We see who they are in an ever-increasing fashion, and how many there are in number.

Now, we need a huge conservative turnover to turn back government largess, and to stop subsidizing this 25% (even paying them more to reproduce in some cases).

I cannot believe the number of people who now speak against Obama in public and on Facebook. People I know who thought themselves liberal have seen the true face of liberalism and publicly declared, “I don’t want that - I’m voting Republican.”

People who have worked hard and lost their homes are furious when they drive by the “projects” and see brand-new homes built for the non-contributors of our society. Here in St. Louis, it was proposed that the beneficiaries of these new homes spend two hours a month maintaining the property - mowing grass, pulling weeds, cleaning graffiti, picking up trash, etc. They complained because that would make them slaves! It’s madness.

People are being paid just to exist. It’s very disheartening.

I swear he’s reverting to childhood, and addressing his Daddy issues with all this ice cream. Just look at his face...

I’ve heard as low as .6%, and as high as 3%.

A disapproval rate for obama approaching 60% is not breaking news?

Is that what you are saying.

...Scott, this attitude doesn’t surprise me at all...and these same beneficiaries are where Obama began as an ‘organizer’...those people have an attitude of “I’m black and you owe me”

Yes. The best wew will ever see is when the Overall Approve and Strongly Approve are equal. I believe 23% is his lowest.

I also believe that day is coming before 2012.

And that ire is exacerbated when they see the newer model Escalade parked out side (with the 25-inch chromes and low-profile tires).
