I agree. Dancing is an art, for crying out loud! Also, Dancesport was once a demonstration sport of the summer Olympics, and may someday become an official sport. The Palins are athletic — there's good reason to believe that Bristol will acquit herself very well at this event.

Recall Clinton playing the saxophone on the Arsenio Hall show? That gave his campaign a huge boost. It made him seem multidimensional, and “cool”. Canada's PM Harper performed on piano, at the National Arts Centre (he's actually quite good). This has helped his image here immensely.
