Pretty sad when messican drug lords do a better job of keeping our border secure than our own president.

Has our buddy Presidente Calderon, who lectured us on our immigration policy, expessed an opinion on this incident?

"The over 70 victims dumped in a mass grave in Mexico were all migrant workers heading to the US, according to the sole survivor."

Mexicans as usual, doing the work Americans refuse to do--i.e. stopping illegals from crossing our borders.

Cute. So you admire folks who go and shoot a bunch of poor people who were fleeing leftist dictatorships in South America?

When you have to flee the US, I hope you’ll remember this.

what kind of outrage would there have been if they were murdered in the US?

Agree. Maybe Presidente Calderon should focus more on his own country rather than meddling with immigration issues in the US.

Livius, there are legal ways to leave leftist dictatorships.

What you don’t appear to understand, is that those people who come over the border are the very people that can’t even qualify for jobs in their own countries. They are usually the dregs of their societies.

I have that confirmed by friends and family living in that region.

These same illegals were illegal in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, etc. as they illegally came up toward us.

We can only hope news gets out about this to prevent problems throughout the entire area south of our border.

Get real.

It may be a while before we have to flee the US but I know many who are leaving voluntarily now.

I'm considering buying a place in Boquete, Panama. Yes, it's Panama but it's better than Obama's USA.

My theory is that both governments are allowing the situation to fester until mexicans can be given refugee status. That will produce a new flood and also make it easier to legalize the ones here, adding to the dem voter base and speeding the U.S. to 3rd world status, the goal of Imam Hussein’s Agenda.

There are 70 some odd dead people.

And you want to call it “border protection” and some sort of warning to others attempting to come here.

You get real.

Livius is right.

Those people tried to come here because WE don’t secure our borders. If our borders were secure it never would have happened - and what happened was terribly wrong and not to be celebrated. The only warning is in time it may apply to all of us if we don’t get our house in order.

A story yesterday stated that the Mexican Drug Lords demanded that the migrants work as Assassins in the US. They refused. That was reported from the only survivor. If true it just demonstrates is that the War with Mexican Drug Lords is escalating in a big way. They are now trying to turn migrants into killers. Definitely not good news for the border.

And none of the other countries secured their borders either, all along the way?

All except the Mexicans among them were illegal even in Mexico.

I don’t cry over people paying drug gangs thousands of dollars so that they, too, can commit further crimes.

Livius and you are both WRONG. Live with it and get some ‘nads.

I have a second home in Colombia. Enjoy it greatly here. Other home is in Broward county Florida which is almost in the USA.

Neither the US government nor the Mexican government advertise how dangerous the border regions are, so people try to cross and get killed.

This is not new, but it is the fault of both Calderon and Obama.

“They are now trying to turn migrants into killers.”

Who do you think has been kidnapping hundreds of people a year in Phoenix? US citizens?

You need to get real, too.

Again, that might just be the silver lining from the massacre.

I recall not too long ago reading stories about drug lords taking over a ranch in Texas and the cops not knowing what to do about it.
Assassins? By spreading disease maybe? Not everything we read is true.
