People who wrongly believe President Obama is Muslim are "psychopaths", according to a sermon from Rev. Jeremiah Wright on Sunday in Little Rock, Ark.

The president's controversial former pastor told the congregation at New Millenium Church that Obama is being ostracized for opposing the "military mindset". During his sermon Wright also criticized supporters of the war in Iraq and defended former state Court of Appeals Judge Wendell Griffen for speaking out against it.

"Go after the military mindset ... and the enemy will come after you with everything," Wright told the packed church, according to the AP.

"He will surround you with psychopaths who will criticize you and ostracize you and put you beyond the pale of hope and say 'you ain't really a Baptist' and say 'the president ain't really a Christian, he's a Muslim. There ain't no American Christian with a name like Barack Hussein,'" he added.

A recent poll shows 18 percent of the public thinks President Obama is Muslim, an increase of seven percent over March 2009. The proportion of people who believe he is Christian has shrunk to 34 percent from 48 percent last year.

Obama cut ties with Wright and left his Chicago church after some of the Revend's more controversial statements became a source of criticism during the 2008 presidential campaign.

Until Wright came along people took Obama at his word. Wright was the red flag.

On August 31, this coming Tuesday, the Muslim Brotherhood-associated “Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations” (CCMO) will bring 25-30 Muslim leaders of 20 national Muslim groups to attend a special workshop presented by the White House and U.S. Government agencies (Agriculture, Education, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services etc.) to provide the groups “funding, government assistance and resources.”

The workshop will apparently provide special access for these Muslim Brotherhood organizations: the organizers pledge to provide “direct access” and “cut through red tape.” Government and Muslim groups will hold an Iftar dinner (breaking the fast of Ramadan) after the workshop. Just my opinion, but I think he’s an atheist or agnostic who uses religion to pander as it suits him - for instance, joining Rev. Wright’s church to build street cred in Chicago and later playing up his Muslim roots for that speech in Cairo. I would guess that in reality, like many academics, he thinks religion is for superstitious peasants.

Pushing aside all the research on Osama Obama’s birth, father, background, etc., etc., - removing all that... one just has to look at every action Hussein Obama has taken since become President (it gags me to use Obama’s name in the same sentence with the work President).

Anyway, Obama’s every action - slighting and insulting Bebe N., policies against Israel, policies favoring Hamas / Palestinians, bowing to the Saudi King, policies of making Islamic Terrorist acts - to be ‘man made disasters’, nutty policies relative to Guantanamo, statements supporting the mosque in ground zero -— how long can this list get?

What more proof does anyone want... if a Protestant President who was once a Catholic - performed every act, every policy favoring Catholics and against Protestants - WHAT WOULD Think? I would think - technicalities aside - that kind of President had NEVER DIVORCED HIMSELF from his former Religion - never... That President would have an ingrained mindset — Catholic upbringing that never went away... this is just hypothetical - Catholic vs Protestant has little consequence ... BUT CHRISTIAN / JEW vs Islam has HUGE consequences... The Religion of Islam is NOT COMPATIBLE with the U.S. Constitution - PERIOD... Antithetical in a nutshell...
