My God, I suspected these kids were the bread winners. Why else would you pusha 13 year old onto a high performance motorcycle and brag he had his “go fast face” on?

What arrogant ignorance!
No idea how much it costs to compete in motor sports?
Get a life gramma!

You’re a bit too new to this board to be throwing insults around just because you disagree with what’s being said.
You might want to back off a bit.
Engaging in dialogue is fine, personal attacks are not.
You have got to be kidding! Bread winners? Show me a kid racing at 13 bringing home enough dough to support racing and a family. The parents have all the dough. Only the top 10 pro’s racing make enough dough to do this and they are 16 and up. Get real, they are not child actors or beauty pageant winners.
Yes, there’s a lot of money in it for the top riders. There are regional and national circuits. The parents usually act as their managers/agents and the boys are under a lot of pressure to perform. In addition to the prize money many of them pick up endorsements. Truly big business.
Very doubtful that these kids are family "breadwinners." Do you have any idea how expensive racing is, even if you get to the point where some sponsors are contributing, and believe me, unless you're able to produce at a competitive level, there IS no sponsorship.
A guy I know was able to score some local sponsorships in motorcycle road racing, and he even held the track record at Heartland Park (Topeka, KS) in his class, but had to hold down 2 jobs just to make ends meet.
