BTW, my Rose of Sharon bushes are finally starting to take off after nearly 5 years in the ground.
Incidentally, I live in the Sharon Valley of Michigan.

Beautiful! Yes, they do take a long time...mine look great this year, they are both over a decade old.
Where is the Sharon Valley of Michigan....near Jackson?
