OMG....this is exactly what happened a few years ago in St. Louis when I was flying with my 82 year-old wheelchair bound mother. We were taken out of line for "special screening" and they made my poor mom who couldn't even stand on her own get out of her wheelchair (I had to hold her up) so they could check to see if she wasn't sitting on a bomb. I kid you not!
