Does no-one see the irony in the term: ANCHORS?
An anchor is a heavy object, often made out of metal, that is used to attach a ship to the bottom of a body of water at a specific point to act as a weight ...
How can anybody look at what she's done for CBS News and say "I've got to have her here!"
but I for one am proud to be working with so many talented, dedicated people who continue to work hard to maintain the highest journalistic standards that have always been associated with CBS News.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... (catches breath) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
>>>I have a solution for CBS. Hire some conservative anchors and producers and watch your ratings soar.
It’s not that as much as it is how and what they report: ideology can be checked at the door, and reporters can stick to the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth - if they want to.
That said, I wish SeeBS a continued decline.
Couric is a little old to pass her ass around. I don’t see big things for her after CBS.
The Queen of the Anchor Desk will walk to her next fete on the bodies of the fallen, an empire squandered.

The majority of the country doesn’t appreciate being lied to. AMF’s!
Not even the 'big-girl' glasses could help Katie's crumbling ratings.
Couric ‘reads’ the news like a 12th grader reading the morning announcments on the school PA
Didn’t any one else notice that?
That’s pretty much a starvation diet where news the facts are concerned.

I have pointed this out. I am an ignorant conservative though. Further analysis is unnecessary.
To notice Couric’s style I would have to watch her. I don’t!
With more news sources enabled by the Internet, news consumers began to figure out how shows like 60 Minutes sourced their so-called investigative journalism. Enlightened viewers came to the realization that the investigations were rooted in the plaintiff’s bar and promoting products of other Viacom CBS business units like Simon & Schuster and Paramount.
I once asked a former director of IRE (Investigative Reporters and Editors) when they were going to investigate the lack of integrity within their own profession. Think of the self-loathing Seymour Hersh of the New Yorker, who was credited with exposing Abu Ghraib, when in fact, the DoD had published a press release about the investigation months before Hersh’s article and the 60 Minutes segment.
That said, I still like their news magazine format on Saturday and Sunday mornings with the exception of the agenda-driven stuff.
Their total viewership has declined while the overall population has increased. Cronkite was able to attract a much larger percentage of the population than Couric could ever hope to.
Gunga Dan has some good advice for all you washed out,
laid off, libtard, SeeBS Newsers
If CBS dies... NBC and ABC will have more viewers...There viewers are over 55 and are slowly dying
