Could you imagine the people that would flock over there (including me) if they hired, say Karl Rove?
CBS (Viacom) may be the only network that does not have Saudi/UAE shareholders or ME deals like the other networks and their parent companies.
They'd rather die as a dismal failing liberal rag than survive and provide jobs and viability as a more conservative news organ that a generally conservative or at least a moderate viewership wants. So be it.

It’s not that as much as it is how and what they report: ideology can be checked at the door, and reporters can stick to the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth - if they want to.
That said, I wish SeeBS a continued decline.

IIRC, her highest rated show is still on September 7, 2006 when she had Rush on.
CBS should have Monica Crowley do the CBS editorial...err evening news.
