Who Is James Lee?
FOX NY ^ | 9.01.10 | LUKE FUNK

Posted on 09/01/2010 12:23:30 PM PDT by rface

MYFOXNY.COM - James J. Lee, 43, has run a one-man protest against the Discovery Channel. He is the man who has been named as the suspect who is believed to have taken at least one hostage at the company's suburban Washington, D.C. headquarters.

He operates the Web site savetheplanetprotest.com . The site contains a list of demands for changes at the channel.

It starts with the line, "The Discovery Channel MUST broadcast to the world their commitment to save the planet and to do the following IMMEDIATELY:"

Lee has also conducted protests outside of the Discovery Channel headquarters building in Silver Spring, Md. and was reportedly arrested in February 2008 in connection with a week-long protest he had planned for February 15-23, 2008.

Lee's main complaint, according to his site, was that the network claims to show "Environmental Programs" but their shows cause more harm than good. He cited shows like "Cash Cab" and Dirty Jobs". He claims they serve as diversions to keep the focus off of what he considers important issues such as global warming and animal extinction.

James Lee has a MySpace page . He says that he's 5'11" tall and from Hawaii. He described himself as an atheist who did not want children in his profile.

His last post at 10:06 AM Jan 22, 2008 said, "Lee says: It's time for REVOLUTION!!!"

Clearly 0bama and Algore’s fault for using coded rhetoric that radicalizes people to environmental extremism.

This culture is absolutely nuts. I’m getting emails from people telling me how humanity will go extinct anyway. So what do they do? They fight me to keep it going in that direction. That’s what they (censored) WANT?? I can’t believe that people would actually WANT this. Are they talking about OTHER people? Is that it? Or are they talking about their children? If that’s the case, why the hell did they have them in the first place if that’s how they feel??

The future generations will see these messages and know “What were they thinking?” like Al Gore said. And then those same people will keep doing it the same like people of this generation do it. The same, goddammed way with the same people who think exactly like the Renton’s of the world.

This guy should be the poster child for the Democrat Party. He doesn’t sound any nuttier than Al Gore or Howard Dean.

Even if they do, this info is out there. The left is really coming unglued and showing all their rabid true colors! This is good for our side.

I agree with the poster who said there is an easy solution. lol These fruit cakes never see themselves as ONE OF the human derbies.

I am not working right now, but all my jobs in the past have been McJobs, if that’s what you want to know. I’ve raised the money to do this from my inheritance ‘trust fund’ by selling most of my shares. Ordinarily, the trust generates only about $1000 a month before I sold most of it, so I would not consider that amount enough to make me a “spoiled trust fund kid.”

Alexa rank (prior to the spike for today, of course) is 10.5 million for savetheplanetprotest.com. To give a comparison, a website I've not updated in four years is ranked 4.5 million. So likely hits in the dozens per month, and nothing makes a wacko more ticked off than having the entire world ignore him.

The `Population Bomb` Has Fizzled

The problem of too few people in the future has not become a hot media topic, but the “Population Bomb” has fizzled. The fading of it should be an object lesson to Earth prophets; people are too ingenious to be put in a miserable trap by someone’s imagination of their helplessness.

It’s all those dammed McJobs that made me big.

Anyway, I seem to be experiencing the same problem I had in San Diego. There was also a lot of wishful thinking over there too, and there was what ‘worked.’ I still am from time to time stuck under this illusion that people are better than they are, or could be made better.

There was a suggestion made today at the protest who said that if Al Gore were there, he could have drawn thousands of people and exerted the pressure needed to make this work if he wanted to. Not a bad idea at all. But most of people in his class won’t do stuff like that to a specific company, which confuses me. Can you imagine what a draw it COULD have been if I had his name in just ONE ad? Now, there would have been the crucial difference. But, it’s too late to go back and try to contact Gore (not that I would make in within one foot of him).

James Lee is a typical Al Gore/Unabomber/Green/Liberal environmentalist wacko.

There are lots of people just as crazy and evil out there.
