Each incoming POTUS has $100K allocated for redecorating. I think it’s covered by the (private) White House Historical Society.

My only problem with this makeover is that the end result looks like someone’s basement rec room. Dull. Drab. Boooooooooring.

It was paid for by a historical society so it did not come from tax payers directly.

I read somewhere around here that it was a 2million dollar job.

Hard to believe, if that has any truth to the cost I think someone made a huge profit.

Couch bail out anyone?

Heck I bought a couple of lounge chairs one to adapt with a special seat insert for the quad son and the other mathching one for his visitors and for the pair (they look just like the Oval office couch in color and material style) cost $500.
