Dem. strategy is to target the tax cuts (extending them, that is) toward the middle class where it will do the most good. No tax cuts for the wealthy. idiots.
Now for the FOX Sunday panel, out only hope for intelligent analysis this week. Thank the Lord that on Sunday morning on Labor Day weekend virtually nobody is watching this stuff.
Thanks so much for doing this thread every week. It’s really appreciated.
No, the high-income, self-motivated overachiever class (small business) provides jobs. The wealthy live off their trust fund incomes.
The way Wallace says this he is engaging in leftist propaganda. He seems to want the tax cuts to expire.
I get FNS next hour.
I will suffer through MTP panel next.
Oy vey!
“Oooops, he just called Boehner SPEAKER BOEHNER!”
Now that would make two rat that had a Freudian Slip like that.
:)
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): David Plouffe, President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign manager.[wrote a book using Limbaugh as his villain]
Does said host has any knowledge. Doubt it, he’s lead with a ‘poll’, should have lead with all the economic indicators, stick to real evidence, host.
Plouffe “the jobs and businesses that sprouted up all over America”
Plouffe “the Republicans have to be on trial here too”
Plouffe “being honest about spending”
Plouffe “I’m not an economist”[says all you need to know about this fool and the host, why talk economics?]
Plouffe “80% of the people Republicans want to give tax cuts to are millionaires”
Plouffe “we had ignored the long term effects on” [eduction health care ect.]
Plouffe “the Republican policies that drove us into”[big talking point that is refuted by real evidence, if NBC a informed host]
Believe me ... we in Virginia grew very weary of that smirk!
Lies are all they have.
They would have us believe we were all unemployed during the eight years of the Bush presidency.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Round table
Is that Krugman?
OMG .... Juan Williams is still sticking with the talking point that Republicans have no ideas.
Juan may be a really decent guy .... but he needs to stop sounding like he’s dumb as a brick.
"Speaker Boehner?" I think that might give us an insight into what they're saying behind closed doors to one another, yes? "Speaker Boehner?" LOL.
Juan Williams repeats ‘No Republican ideas’ mantra, economy not the fault of the Dems. He does worse than Kaine, since he isn’t smiling.
I believe 'wealthy' has been redefined by the dems to include people making $75,000 or more per year...that would include many of the folks you cited. Cut taxes; cut spending. :-)
Wahn spewing:
Republicans have no new ideas.
Republicans, party of no, give more money to the rich.
Economy losing 8000 jobs a month when Obama took office. (RATS controlled both houses)
AAAAAAAHHHHHG!!!!
Juan Williams said: republicans shouldn’t “Give More Money to the Rich.”
I think I will have to email him to tell him how stupid he is.
Plouffe is a fast-talking moron, spewing talking points that just won’t fly.
On a lighter note, I’d like for y’all to note that I am very much alive this morning despite Earl’s attempt to annhialate me.
Heh.
All the cable channels had folks out, all wearing scary rain gear, hoods, boots....up and down the east coast. I got up Friday morning and the breezes were whipping up.
Every morning, due to such as cholesterol and excess sugar and such, I got out around 8 am and walk, jog, exercise, and play with dog. Yeah, I walk around in circles, jog too, yes I do. We got a ring around our yard looks like the kind of thing horses walk on...those kiddie ride things.
And since husband had leg artery bypass he needs to walk so he comes out and joins me so there we all are, walking around in circles, two humans followed by dog.
We play with dog, throw ball, frisbee. I also exercise to stretch muscles with a dream that some day, in a land far away, my stomach will stop flopping as I jog around my beloved track.
Anyway, I was wary of Earl as the cable folks been telling me to mind the skies, have plenty of water. My hope was that Earl would let me get in my morning exercise session as I’m always a grouch if I can’t get out there.
I had to cut some of my routine short as the rains began. I wasn’t worried. Earl would only skate by the Delaware coast, the weather pundits told me, but there would be rain and winds and don’t even THINK about surfing in that churling ocean.
I was happy in that my plants needed watering but when possible I like to allow nature to provide wet stuff. All week I ignored their droops and told them to hang in there, Earl was coming.
We all did finish our morning routine and the rain was coming down...softly, very softly....but I scolded the thirsty plants and told them to have patience.
All day I looked at the skies, which were grey-ish. The breezes were kicking up. “Soon” I told husband...”soon Earl will surely give my plants some watery relief”.
I took my afternoon nap and woke up. I saw something yellow streaming in the window. THE SUN WAS OUT!
My plants all over my beautiful late-season gardens were drooping like wilted spinach. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO EARL???
Folks, I had to go out and water my suffering flowers.
This, right in the middle of a damn hurricane.
Ya, if I remember correctly it was Schoen that said it as well it was actually rather funny he would let that cat out of the bag.
The economy lost 8000 jobs in January right after O was elected.
Now the economy is losing nearly 500,000 each week.
Will anyone tell the truth FGS.
New unemployment claims are made by people who have LOST their jobs.
I’d rather have 8,000 a month than nearly 2,000,000 per month.
