I think he and the entire administration are now products of sheer desperation.They are witnessing the oncoming torpedoes of Nov. now in their periscope and know that their slowly sinking ship is about to hit bottom really quick.
Really, what is Ploufe going to say...”Yeah, things stink, vote us out”? He’s in the same spot that the GOP was in 06 and 08. It’s just nice to watch them squirm and make inept and ineffective arguments.

Desperate???OMG, they are squeeling like that pig in the car ins commercial that is screeching “WEE! WEE! Weeee!”
I just love how all of them now have this manic pressured speech...Krugman and Friedman should be seated farther away from the panel desk..( on This “Weak” )I am sure the host is getting sprayed with spitting as they “forcefully defend” the economy! Ha.
