Our household just received a call from NRA, the caller stated the NRA has withdrawn their support of Harry Reid due to his support of Kagan for Supreme Court. I have no verification but think this a very important development if true.
I thought the NRA already had said they were NOT endorsing Reid, not endorsing Angle either.
Too late! LaPierre and Cox have made too many deals with devils to trust them now.
Was widely reported when NRA made a press release a week or so ago.

Ah, now I can send in my NRA renewal. It was slated for the trash. No matter what the convoluted reasoning the NRA has for supporting a politician, supporting a bag of excrement like Reid was beyond the pale.
Whoever it was in the NRA that started that idiocy should be fired - at least job wise, and perhaps with a spare old 45 while they’re at it.
As an NRA Lifer, I’m still not cutting them checks anytime soon. I’m not writing them off completely like I have done with the RNC, but like disciplining a misbehaving child, they’ll see my donations again when the actually start doing the right thing. Their lame Disclose Act explanation was dispicable, and their weak kneed Harry Reid love affair utterly unimaginable up until recently. The NRA needs major leadership changes at the top starting with Cox and LaPierre. I think I’ll send some $ to the SAF instead.

I filed my renewal form in the circular file. I will not be dumpster diving to retrieve it. The NRA has nuked their bridge with me.
To even consider supporting Reid was the last straw for me.
Neutral doesn't cut it in this case.
The rumor was started by liberals to divide us. As you can see, some on FR are too blinded by their dislike of the NRA to see this tactic and they continue to bash those on our side.
Supporting Murtha again in 08 did it for me.
Now give a pro 2nd Amendment opponent support.

Gun Owners of America have jumped in with both feet sponsoring Angle with some pointed radio ads. Very effective IMO.
I have terminated my NRA relationship.

You’re just a little LATE, Mr. Cox. I canceled my membership a couple of months ago. You know...the LAST time you made a deal with the devil at the expense of the nation and the American people. I’m sure you couldn’t care less. But I do hope many others have joined me.

Wish They only sent me requests every 2-3 weeks seems lately been getting them every other day between the wife and I. Filling up my round file double fast.
I think the NRA chose not to support Reid Nor Angle.
