Wait till they come for you, you'll be singing a different tune then to be sure.

Bingo!

Would love to hear these same people if it happened to them.

Then HE will find a(n) ISP that will support his view.

Or not.

Apparently, freedom of speec

I always thought that freedom of speech protected you from your government.....

Just because you have some crackpot message to spout doesn't mean that I have to allow you the forum to spread it.........

Explain how the 1st Amendment has any bearing on this situation. Twenty words or less.

The majority of Americans probably have the same views as this “crackpot”.

You'll understand when yours is taken away.

(Seven words.)

It’s people like you who make me unable to identify with “conservatism” these days. Your grasp of the Constitution would be laughed at 20 or 30 years ago. Read a book.

Then tell them to join his church. 50 similar crackpots is hardly enough to pay the monthly electric bill........something tells me that recruitment was his original intent all along.

Good luck with that Reverend.........

Good! You're hardly a conservative.

Spoken like a true liberal that has zero comprehension of the history of the United States Supreme Court.

Yes of course, you or anyone may have such a choice as withdrawing such a forum but in doing so, your upholding freedom of speech? Not. Those who think like you ought to be careful, karma has a way of biting one in the ass in some unknown distant point in future time.

I wish I knew the answer to that one, My FRiend.

On second thought I think I do. No one will. They see that whomever does something that supposedly upsets the mualims, they are attacked by not only the muslims but by the muslim and quran defenders. This forum illustrates that.

if obama and the Democrat Party are smart, sometime in 2011 obama will officially announce that he is a muslim and if he is not re-elected the muslims will be upset. He will get at least 99% of the vote. Ditto the Democrat politicans. Just announce: I am a muslim and if you do not elect me islam will be insulted and muslims will be upset. Again, they will win in a landslide.

From Rackspace's own website about itself: "Nine (9) Data Centers: San Antonio, TX (2); Dallas, TX; Herndon, VA; Chicago, IL; Ashburn, VA; London, UK; Slough, UK; Hong Kong"

So, these guys undoubtedly have many beaucoup companies working with/for/under/in league with the CIA at Herndon and Ashburn VA.

I'd imagine that's where the complaint came from, but what about the users in Hong Kong?

How good are their internal firewalls ~ or is this silly ISP being used for the back and forth intelligence duels between OUR GUYS and the CHICOMS.

I suspect what we have here is an ISP that's really OWNED by the CIA, but is cooperatively managed by a trusted source ~ a kind of electronic "safehouse".

The rest of it is just the wiring.

Preacher Jones done stepped in the doo doo here.

You're very welcome, the reality is people like you who call yourselves "conservatives" or "republicans" when you're really a liberal in sheep's clothing just piss me off.

Have a nice life.

Note: Tort or not you can get really, really good rates for satellite TV if you are willing to accept your service from a "national" satellite that's used for lots of other stuff, and gets moved some times.

India has one in sight; so does Pakistan; and there are always the Russians.

Service sometimes gets interrupted ~ but the relocations are the pits.

I have some friends renting service from India ~ which also gives them most Indian live broadcast channels for free ~

There has to be a counterpart for internet service ~ Weston? Guy owns 700,000 sq foot exhibit center and he's piddling with an ISP that has only 99,000 customers (one of which was a 50 member church ~ give us a break!)

I'll take the bait - If commercial providers of a service to the public deny that service to some customers based on their religious viewpoint, then they are likely to run afoul of laws prohibiting discrimination which are founded on the 1st Amendment. Using vague contractual limits like "no hate speech" aren't likely to be sufficient defenses.
