About 800 inmates escaped a federal prison holding Muslim extremists in northern Nigeria during a sunset attack by gunmen who are believed to be members of a radical sect, a police official said Wednesday.
The attackers went cell by cell at the prison in Bauchi, breaking open locks and setting fire to part of the prison before escaping during the confusion, said Bauchi state police commissioner Danlami Yar'Adua. Four people died and six others remain in critical condition.

Greetings, I hope this finds you well. I am the son of the former minister of oil and also the king of Nigeria. Father was able to embezzle over $50,000,000 during his 25 years in office. He deposited this sum in the First National Bank of Nigeria. Unfortunately my father was tried, convicted and imprisoned before he could get the money out of the country. Luckily, Dad, along with 799 other lucky souls escaped last night. Sadly we are both penniless and the bank manager, Mr Simon Obongocongo requires a bribe of $3000 to allow us to withdraw this princely amount. We are willing to split the money right down the middle, Gertrude, if you agree to wire us the needed bribe money. Upon receival of this sum, my lawyer Acoobay Boogabaggaboogabagga will mail a box with $25,000,000 in small bills enclosed to the address of your designation. I am hoping the good lord is smiling upon you.
some will be on to Mexico and crossing the Rio Grands before you know it - betcha!!!
