Supreme irony in this. Christians are the one group that does and will do the most to support Israel, and protect the religious rights and freedoms of Jews. There is plenty of evidence to support this.
It is easy to figure out, they have a death wish.

Members of these groups will know it is OK to become a Republican when one of their members gets the GOP nomination for President.
Maybe next week we can do the why are there 40 million liberal Christians who belong the the far left National Council of Churches (they are the ones who REALLY voted Obama in) or the World Council of Churches and their 300 million base of liberal supporters?

Given the sheer number of votes in question, it’s also far, far, more serious of an issue.
Though Goldwater was a Jew he voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act citing constitutional states rights and the individual rights of business owners to choose who they traded with. Goldwater became an attractive figure to southern “Dixiecrats” including the Ku Klux Klan who had a history of persecuting Jews as well as blacks, Catholics and immigrants.
Jews are so prevalent in the arts, professions and the intelligentsia it is difficult for a Jew to openly dissent from the political fashions of his academic peers even though his personal belief system may be in opposition. This may seem dishonest but we are—as you know personally—talking about a group of people who have survived by their wits every day since before Moses. If Jews have learned anything over the millenniums it's that periods of peace and prosperity can overnight transform into persecution and even extermination at the hands of a fickle and brutal majority.
I came to realize that Jews will always be victims.
I have tried to explain to her that Jews, like abused women go back to their abusers at record rates. She really doesn’t understand that Democrats only want her vote and could care less about her personally.

In some sense they do stand to gain in terms of their negotiated payback from gvt. Many of them play the gvt like a fiddle....
How America’s <3 million Jewish voters (mostly crammed into 20 congressional districts) vote is an FR obsession. Easier to blame the jooooz than to motivate the 30+ million evangelicals who didn’t vote or voted for Obama.
