"DialogueDel: RT @DESenate2010 The looks on people's faces at the Castle event aren't good. Everyone's sort of watching in a little disbelief."

OOOOPS.

(From an undisclosed location, far away from Delaware). I’m puzzled by this statement:

“...Higher turnout should help Castle since O’Donnell’s voters seem to be more strongly motivated.”

Aren’t “strongly motivated.” voters more likely to vote, increasing voter turnout?

Whaddya want to bet that we'll be seeing a late surge of Castle absentees, like 10k of them?

If you are going to cheat, that is EXACTLY what you MUST do. DO not report your base, hold all cards until last and then PUSH. But right now.... 11% swing is Almost impossible.

And they KNOW it.

Not necessary....on balance severe Rinos like Castle tend have more liabilities than assets.

Earlier this year, Napsalot and myself changed from Independent (which is the largest voter registration block in DE) to Republican. Just so that we get our say (specifically to vote against Mike Castle) in the DE closed primary. At the time, it was just for selfish ‘satisfaction’, because Castle was a clear shoe in in both primary and in the GE. Never expect the primary to be such a competitive race.

Today, both of us went to vote after work around 5:25 pm. There were only two older couples coming out of the polling place, nobody in line waiting. We got our R cards and I voted for O’Donnell/Urquarht. 100% sure Napsalot voted for O’Donnell, I don’t know the other choices.

I am right on the DE/PA state line (north Wilmington, New Castle county). I was expecting more people voting after work, but was surprised at such light turn out.

Try Politico.com. They have a map of the results as they come in.

The fact that the Delaware.gov website is having problems is a good sign for us. It means so many people are interested in the results that they cannot handle the load. That’s not Castle voters doing that.
