“In this case it is a strategic decision on where to use resources”?????

These so-called representatives of the people are scared of a fight! It isn’t a battle if it isn’t uphill and there’s no adversity! I’m sickened by the cowardice of those who’d rather go along, to get along. They certainly don’t represent the American Spirit!

Thanks, that pretty much sums it up. The GOP is picking a fight. Unfortunately for them it is these voters that pay attention. I will try to catch Rove and find out more about his calculation.

GOP?

I vaguely remember that that was the party of Lincoln and Reagan.

The NRSC doesn’t appear to have any way of emailing them, or contacting them in any other way, unless you want to contribute.

Cowards.

All over the website, they say they’re all about helping elect Republicans and defeating Democrats.

Bald face liars.

I’d like to hear/read this directly from the NRSC. I cannot believe they would commit hari kiri this way.

It does not spell the end for the GOP, but it might spell the end for the liberals in the GOP. If you’re a liberal, or even a moderate, are you going to run on the GOP label?

Boy, this also seems like a spoiled brat variety knee jerk reaction.

The results are in and within minutes, the RNC kicks and screams “WE WONT SUPPORT HER! WE WONT! WE WONT!”.

I would love to hear ANY of those stuffed shirts explain why not, based on her positions. What does she say/believe that they disagree with? Do they even know? I doubt it. They would likely come up with some hamfisted line about not being able to win the election. This from the guys that in the past 4 years have managed to lose control of every single elected body on the national level.

They are surely the ones qualified to tell us what we need to do to win...followed by the Jim Kelly era Buffalo Bills beginning their “How to win the BIG one” lecture tour.

I haven’t read all the comments, but at least let me add my “The NRSC seems to be composed of idiots”. Heck, even if they are not all idiots, I say we either remove or ignore most of them.

These are the power hungry GOP backers that care little about the Country or the Constitution. May they go by the wayside much quicker than I had ever hoped - contributions, you’ve got to be kidding!

I can only see where to email them.

Where can add my pixels and two cents worth on their pages?

Thanks

Most of the GOP are RINOS.

*********

Which is why I never use the term. What we call “RINOS” -are- the Republican norm. Rockefeller, Nixon, Ford, Dole, Romney, Steele etc. are the typical establishment Republican.

People like Goldwater, Reagan and Palin are the outsiders. Think how they were vilified by GOP nomenklatura.

The derisive term “voodoo economics” was hung around Reagan’s neck by one George Herbert Walker Bush.

Masks are slipping all over the political landscape.

The NRSC will probably donate to the Democrat in the race.

Well, I disagree. The way to send them a message would be for the money not to disappear, but simply show up somewhere else. The candidates not being supported were probably complaining anyway...

Came across this...this is the only reference I can find to any official statement from the NRSC on this race:

http://www.entexion.com/2010/09/15/tea-party-favorite-claims-victory-in-delaware-primary/

In an attempt to soothe the hard feelings, the National Republican Senatorial Committee offered its congratulations to O'Donnell immediately after the result was determined. "We congratulate Christine O'Donnell for her nomination this evening after a hard-fought primary campaign in Delaware," said a statement by Rob Jesmer, the NRSC executive director.

We’ve been stabbed in the back by the elites and we’ve still got so-called conservatives like Karl Rove and others insisting that our betrayers are the only people we should support.

But we aren’t blind. George Dubya and friends led to the blowout in ‘06. Juan McShameless led to Barack Obama in ‘08. Barring a sudden epidemic of Stockholm Syndrome among the electorate, we won’t make the same mistake again.

The folks that run the GOP are ashamed at ordinary, conservative republicans. Heck, even George H.W. Bush told a Soviet delgation back in the 80s that the Reagan-ites in the adminstration were “crazies”. This is how they feel about us, you know, the ones who actually work for a living and fight and die in their wars abroad. Stop sending them money.

Unfortunately for them it is these voters that pay attention.

So long as those voters are also willing to open their wallets and directly contribute to TEA Party candidates such as O'Donnell, there won't be a problem. There's absolutely nothing that says GOP candidates must be funded through the Party apparatuses. Having a grass-roots movement, like the TEA Party, that is capable not only of getting Conservative candidates nominated but also funding them to the level necessary to win general elections is a good thing, as it ultimately works to de-power "establishment" organizations like the NRSC and RNC and place power in the hands of the GOP Conservative base.

No, the Republican party just made ITSELF the third party. The Tea Party is now winning AGAINST them.

****************

Score. Absolutely perfect analysis.
