And we blame Karl Rove.

I don’t like Rove, never did, thought he should take it to the Ds instead of just taking their hits.

Can Christine be all over TV right now without Karl Rove hitting her? Because being on TV right now is bringing in money for Christine.

It’s better that Rove hits her than someone that swing voters in Delaware like.

It’s hard to do a news story about someone without something that can be considered news.

Also, here’s what can happen. Christine comes up with a new story about these issues that Karl Rove is upset about. First, he makes it clear that he does not like one bit her current answers. Everyone knows the issues. It is a controversy. It is a controversy NOW, months before the election. And Karl can be as harsh to her as he wants. Beats her up.

Then. Christine gives a new answer, perhaps a wonderful wonderful answer that tugs at the heartstrings and makes people love Christine even more. A Super Bowl Clintons moment.

Then Karl Rove says something like “not only am I satisfied with Christine, and am confident that this is no longer an issue, but I see Christine in a new light, as a wonderful candidate who fought the establishment for what is right, a near saint, and will be an excellent Senator for the state of Delaware.”

Doing the controversy now gets it out of the way now. And if the Dems in Del want to use it, it won’t be nearly as effective, and could backfire.

The one good thing about Rove’s cheap attacks on O’Donnell after she won the GOP nomination is that she’s probably inoculated from all of those attacks now.

Think about it: what better way to shut up and shame a stupid Leftist than to say “you sound just like Karl Rove!”
