LAS VEGAS — Does Lady Gaga run the U.S. Senate?

A spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday a vote to repeal the military's ban of openly gay and lesbian soldiers had been planned for next week before the singer made waves with a plea during a daytime talk show.

The pop star known for flashy performances and eccentric style called on Reid to repeal the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that aired Monday.

Reid's campaign and Gaga traded talking points on Twitter after the lawmaker announced the vote. Reid told Gaga repealing the measure was the right thing to do.

There are such things as butt implants. She lacks a feminine quality I just cannot put a finger on. She might have female anatomy but “something” is missing. First time and only time I saw her perform and didn’t even know who she was I felt this. There was also a picture on a website I stumbled across that shows an ad she posed for in France/Italy I think she was in a suit and had short dark hair....looked like a total guy.

I don’t care either way but had to put in my 2cents:)

Having done my time in the 70’s, when, as no doubt in today’s military, I signed an enlistment contract and, of course, completed it.

For the guys in today, if DADT is negated, I would think that their contract is null and void: you arbitrarily changed the condition of their service. And, were it me, I’d be gone, since there are things in life that I just don’t have to put up with.

So, from my point of view, go ahead and revoke DADT, but them renegotiate each and every enlistment, including officers, but in particular the enlisted, who live under much worse conditions than their “betters”.

I suspect that you’ll have to rif the former, as you’ll have very few of the latter left.

There have been rumors since the beginning that “she” is a man.

There are quite a few military on FR that have said they’ll not reenlist. I don’t blame them. There are some very cogent reasons not to serve with homosexuals, moral and unity being two of them.

Does Lady Gaga run the U.S. Senate

I only wish. Sure she is bat $#it crazy, but her business makes money. I mean Obama is already a paranoid narcissist. If we have to have a loony running the country lets at lest have one who isn't going to run the place into the dumpster. And besides if Lady GaGa was running the country we could put the State of the Union on pay per view and help pay of the national debt. Of course it would have to be on after the kids go to bed, but hey I don't want them watching Obama either.

Who cares what she thinks except for girls too young to vote?

The majority of Gaga's audience is probably people of voting age. She is the poster "girl" for homosexuals worldwide. She's actually pretty business savvy. She chose her market from the get-go, she speaks out for them on a regular basis, and in return they have made her filthy freakin' rich.

Maybe she’s just trying too hard, like most trannies do.

I think it’s a symptom of “If you don’t worship Someone, you’ll worship anyone”. And that principle when followed, leads down the toilet, every time.

There’s so much wrong here it’s hard to know where to start.

Not allowing this type of popular “culture” or “entertainment” into the house is a good start. So at least those in one’s household won’t be infected. And then speaking up and speaking out and taking a stand - even though idiots and perverts and those promoting perversion will heckle.

Am I the only who thinks she looks like a man? I’ve got a pretty good sense of that sort of thing and I’m pretty sure there’s an extra chromosome floating around in there somewhere.

"Lady" Gaga has a complete set of both female and male sexual reproduction organs. Make of that whatever you will.

I see it as beneath the dignity of anyone in our government to listen to mere entertainers who have serious personal moral issues. It cheapens the dignity of government. This trend started with Clinton and he was trash. Actually I guess it was the Kennedy’s with Monroe but I doubt they talked policy.
