37 posts before someone had either the courage, or the intellect to say what is plainly true. You don't dig out of a 12-point (at best) deficit by practicing the black arts. Just saying.
Just because O'Donnell was better than Castle, doesn't mean O'Donnell was a good choice. Sometimes in politics, there are bad candidates and horrible candidates. O'Donnell appears to be the later, not the former.
I agree - some of the things she’s said makes her sound like a loon.
I've got to say we have our share of dumb asses on FR. She isn't practicing the black arts, you moron, she admitted, back in the 1990s, that when she was young she dabbled in witchcraft. Some people have sh** for brains and it seems like many of them have signed up to pretend to be conservatives on FR.
Religious people who are sincere all know that turning away from past misdeeds is what it's all about.
St. Peter denies knowing our Lord, repents, is made the first Pope and holds the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
St. Paul starts out as a persecutor of Christians, and becomes The Apostle.
O'Donnell does weird occultic things briefly as a kid. Big whoop. Now she is a true professing believer, taking her lumps for it too, by the way.
I want to thank Powerline and Maher for bringing out these positive aspects of O'Donnell's character for people to appreciate: Humility, repentance, reform. All things she is going to use productively as a Senator.
You guys who think she is toast, you are clueless.
She dabbled in witchcraft many years ago. He primary opponent was currently dabbling in demoncratics, and her opponent IS a demoncrat.
Easy choice.
But suppose she loses. At least we won’t have a phony Republican blurring the lines and making it hard for Republicans in other states to convince anyone the GOP is anything other than Demon-lite.
