Mr. President, I feel hope-less(Weary Obama Organizer Has That Hopeless Feeling)

I went to volunteer full time for Obama and was soon hired as an organizer for the campaign.

The night of Aug. 28, 2008, when Obama spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, was one of the most exciting in my life. Michelle and Barack came backstage to thank us for all our hard work and told us we could sleep in the next day. I remember feeling giddy.

I almost feel sorry for this poor sap. He overdosed on the Hopenchange Kool-Aid but now has that empty feeling of despair and hopelessness. That magical vision where Big Daddy Government paid your mortgage and credit card bills just hasn't materialized during the disastrous Obama presidency and now Greg Smith is stuck back at his old job.

With all due respect, any college student who actually believe Obamacrap obviously didn’t take very hard courses in college...and most certainly had not even a distant engagement with a real economics professor (this means no Krugman).

In short, he studied astrology and has received the full fruits of his academic foolishness.

I'm a college graduate and I still can't get a good job.

Welcome to the new "hope and change" norm. You've gone from being a free American to a ward of the socialist state.

Thanks for posting this article.

Would you care to fix your link to the article. We have no way of knowing if this is satire or the real thing.

These people thought they would be living high on the hog with other peoples money. Didn't happen. People thought they would see love and peace across the world. Didn't happen. These people thought they would see Bush and Cheney hung on the Whitey House lawn. Didn't happen.

I don't feel sorry for any of them.

I’m in complete agreement. Plus, if he was so enamored with Mo and Bo that he drank whatever Kool-Aid that was served to him, then I’m sorry, but he deserves every bit of the Hopey Changey crap that he bought into. He’s not idealistic; he’s just stupid.

These cool-aid drinking drones are just now figuring out that they have been duped by a Marxist thinking Elitist.

Here’s a hot tip to these drones for future reference - if it looks like its too good to be true (the planet’s going to heal, I will make America loved again, I will fix the economy and give you jobs, I will give you free health, care, etc, etc, etc.), YOU ARE BEING SCAMED...and you should immediately run in the opposite direction.

Not vote the clown 4 years of absolute power over your lives.

Obama has let professional politicians take over the White House -- and our dream of change.

The only "change" you're seeing is that you've now started to realize that Obama is a sock puppet for the same old gang of corrupt politicians that have infested DC for years. Hate to break it to you, but you're next revelation should be to realize that Obama is a willing participant, not a victim.

People like this never learn. He will fall for the next snake-oil salesman who comes along promising a free taste of his cure-all potion.

I cannot figure out what is the CHANGE they wanted????

Nevertheless, things have definitely changed - for the worse. And then all this “inherited” crap - the rat Congress did this to us. He may have a college degree but he didn’t learn anything of any real value.

I hope he lives a life of ill health, desperation, and unending sorrow.

Suck it up, lad. Face it, you were used. Where are those you volunteered your time for? Eating lobster, vacations, everything/everyone at their beck and call. They don't even know you exist. And your type is born every minute.

All this idiot had to do was grow up, read some history on Marxism, stop reading “O” magazine and take an econ course. These are the same fools that go to Amway meetings. Ask “HOW will you hopey, changey us”? “WHY is your background a guarded secret”? “WHO are you”? “WHAT TF”?!

This guy won’t change his voting habits either. He’ll continue to wander around looking for the “D” and voting other morons into office. He’ll move from California because of taxes and lack of jobs and move to Texas or Virginia and bring his horrendous voting habits with him.

The 2008 campaign was a magnificent triumph of glittering generalities. Hussein crooned empty platitudes but thousands susceptible people thought they heard him voicing their innermost desires.
