There’s a trend emerging from the media and the pollsters. Media: Voters are depressed; won’t go out to vote (that means “us.”) Pollsters: Dems are surging! (get excited Dems, get out and vote!)

There was a concerted effort this week to release inflated polls that oversampled Democrats.

Most people don't know how to read a poll (look at the crosstabs) so they will just look at the number & panic or get depressed.

Polls shape opinion. They don't measure it. The only poll that matters is the one on election day. It's ALL about turnout.
