It is murder. A baby is murdered by it’s mother because it’s an inconvenience. It is murder because it is not done in self-defense. It was done because Mom wanted a few seconds of pleasure and deemed it worth her child’s life.

If this were, say, an anti-cholesterol drug, the hue and cry against it would be deafening, with lawsuits springing up like mushrooms.

Taking of an innocent life is murder.

It’s not the same as self-defense, nor is it the same as the military engagement in times of was, nor is it the same as capital punishment by the government in the enforcement of civil law and order, as God ordained.

If *murder* is a legal concept, what legal concept does ending the life of a human being innocent of any crime by a non-combatant citizen of the country called?

And where do you draw the line? At what age does the lump of undifferentiated cells become human and when does it become murder to end it? What standard do you apply to determine the humanity of the person and on what is it based?

And just where did I say that the article said “thousands” of women died? I didn’t. The little word “or” after “died” is called a conjuction.

Exactly!

According to FDA reports as of December 2006, there have now been eight known deaths associated with mifepristone in the U.S., nine life-threatening incidents, 116 blood transfusions, and 232 hospitalizations. In total, more than 1,100 women have had medical problems after using the drug as of that date.

“Does it “kill” a baby? In my opinion, it does not. The lump of undifferentiated cells does not constitute a “baby,” in my opinion.”

Suppose the dead embryo were taken as evidence from a crime scene, and the cells’ DNA analyzed. The analyst, not knowing the source of the cell material, would not have the right to ‘opine’ that the cells were not from a unique human being.

If you understand "to 86" something means to "kill it" (dating from years ago when diners used numeric codes for orders, 86 meant to kill or cancel the order). Now that you understand 86 means "death", say the name of this pill, phrased as a question.

RU486? I'm not.

These quotes from Wikipedia

"Mifegyne is sold outside the U.S. by Exelgyn Laboratories, made in France, and is approved for: Medical termination of intrauterine pregnancies of up to 49 days gestation (up to 63 days gestation in Britain and Sweden)

Softening and dilatation of the cervix prior to mechanical cervical dilatation for pregnancy termination

Use in combination with gemeprost for termination of pregnancies between 13 and 24 weeks gestation

Labor induction in fetal death in utero".[15]

to me indicate that this drug is not a contraceptive, as is a diaphragm, for example, but an abortifactant. That means that it does not prevent pregnancy, it terminates it. Which means that it kills human life. Which means that a woman who uses it is killing her own child.

How is that not murder by any moral definition?

this when Eisenhower ordered them to come into the liberated death camps and help bury the dead with their own hands.

This is when our country still had a moral compass. This was before the leftists got the power to legislate their moral agenda which included population control or abortion. It is sickening to see professing Christians like Pelosi defending “the right to choose” pro abortion issues. I pro-life and I defend childrens right to life. Abortion is an abomination. And, we will suffer Gods wrath if we continue to allow it.
