Intelligence agencies have intercepted a terror plot to launch Mumbai-style attacks on London and other European cities, according to Sky News sources. Sky's foreign affairs editor Tim Marshall said militants based in Pakistan were planning simultaneous attacks on London and other major British cities. The group - thought to be linked to Al Qaeda - were also planning similar attacks in France and Germany.

I think the U.S. should learn from the British and “take up the white man’s burden”. Wherever the British went in the late 19th century, they forced the natives to give up slavery and brought in Christianity and parliamentary democracy to civilize them. Seems to me islam is a political movement as much as a very sick (imo) religion. ( Anyone who worships a God who demands killing of innocents and sanctions strapping bombs on children, or worships a prophet that raped little children, etc., has got to be terribly sick. )
That said, seems to be, because of the political components of this disease, that ALL muslims, at least those in America, should be required to have on file an oath to our rules of law and a promise to reject working for the destruction of our rule of law designed to replace it with sharia law. And this form should include the consequence of any attempt to set up their own courts and sharia law, a law separate from our own, the IMMEDIATE DEPORTATION of the person involved if proven guilty of attempting to undermine our rule of law-that which binds us into a community of Americans. One nation, as it were.
Such action is an act of treason and changes the islam so called peaceful religion into a political action group desiring to replace our laws.
When you look at the world, everywhere there are heavy populations of muslims, there is violence and turmoil and unhappiness and murder.
And just watching what is happening in Britain ind France and other European countries should be ENOUGH OF A WAKE UP CALL to take action now to protect our foundations and system of laws BEFORE it turns into massive fights in our streets. With car burnings (like in Paris) and major areas of cities where the very police are afraid to go and therefore DO NOT ENTER ( like in Paris and London and it is approaching the same in Dearborn, Michigan where muslims are so concentrated that, my guess, tourism at the great Henry Ford museum has dwindled big time).
The Christian religion demands that we render unto 'Ceasar' (the government) what is due by law and pray for our leaders; the islam 'religion' demands that the islam law -sharia law- is the government and all other law is of the infidel.
islam is a POLITICAL SYSTEM that fully controls and in the case of women, demeans its followers and suffocates its followers while injecting hatred and even kill orders on those who do not buy into the icky cult.

As for all other you wrote...well that is what most people do understand about Islam. It is a politcal/militant ideology encompassing every area of life under the disguise as a religion.
