Anybody want to speculate on what the political impact of a “major” terror attack on a Western target would be at this point? It’s crass to do so after the fact so we might as well do it now. Gotta figure the rally around the CINC effect would boost Obama’s number provided it wasn’t obviously tied to his incompetence. I don’t think it would do anything to save the Dems in congress though. Plus it would really turn up the heat on the GZM issue.
