That's some strong encouragement. Thanks. It's hard to resist your logic, although I still feel hesitant to open a can of worms that I'm not in the mood to deal with.

My family members are so solidly liberal, that I fear they'd take it the wrong way - in other words, they'd view it as a make-wrong, not as an invitation to broaden their minds and hearts.

I kind of feel as though they'd need to hear this from someone other than me, to accept it.

Understand...Have you ever read a letter written by a female AA officer with the last name of Rice? IIRC it's Fran. She lists the reasons (history) of why she is a Republican....At one time it was saved to my computer, but that one died.

Just leave material on the coffee table when they visit. They will read it.
